Rhubarb and Apple compote

Start the morning with a home made muesli , topped with  “Rhubarb and apple compote” and sheep yogurt.This is full of Vit B,C and calcium to start your day with. Add a teaspoon of hemp protein powder if you feel you need the boost….

Total cooking time 30 min: recipe make 4 portions.

  • Ingredients:
  • zest of 1/2 orange
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 500g rhubarb, peeled,roughly chopped
  • 1 green apple,peeled and cored.
  • 30 g brown sugar

(1 teaspoon of hemp protein powder.)Optional, add after the fruit is cooked.

Place all the ingredients into a pot and simmer until the fruit is soft. Blend it until smooth and serve it with your muesli or use as a yummy pudding with chopped up nuts.
