Every once in a while, it is benificial to hit the reset button and give your body the detox boost it needs. There is no time like the present to clean the liver, kidneys, skin and bowels: our body’s main organs of detoxification.
Once you clean your system of caffeine, sugar, refined fats and other junk and then flush and nurture your body with freshly extracted live fruit and vegetable juices, you quickly begin to notice the positive change in your body.
It may also help prevent chronic deseases and slow down the aging process. There are many ways to detoxify the body, fresh squeezed juices and nutrabullets are an easy way to start your day off .
Fruits should be eaten by themselves, without protein or complex carbohydrates, and between meals at 10 am and 4 pm for best energy conversion and cleansing benefits.
Regular Excersise and yoga will also help you to detox faster.

1)Detox Smoothie Breakfast
This smoothy is full of raspberries, pear and other natural ingredients that are sure to help your body detoxify. Raspberry contains antioxidants that can help slow the ageing process and protect the body against free radical that can cause diseases.
They also contain potassium, which can support healthy blood pressure and an overall healthy heart.
Pears include a significant amount of fibre in our diet and this will help with digestion .
Enjoy and feel good:
- 1 1/2 cups raspberries
- 1 ripe pear, cored
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 cup baby kale
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon raw honey.
Place all the ingredients in the nutrabullet and mix until smooth.
2)Detox juice breakfast
- 3 carrots
- 3 celery stalks
- 1⁄2 bunch of spinach
- 1⁄2 bunch parsley
- teaspoon olive oil
Juice all the ingredients together. This juice is high in potassium and is most effective for cleansing blood and tissues and neutralising acids in the body.
If you are fed up with just drinking water all day try this … it has lots of colour and it taste great as well as you can drink it all day long at any time or take this on your morning 20 min walk .
This flushes the system it is lighter than a juice, but more filling than water.
- 2.5 cm piece raw beetroot
- 1/ 2 apple (Golden Delicious or Royal Gala are best)
- 2.5 cm slice pineapple
- 2.5 cm slice lemon with rind (if not unwaxed remove rind)
- 3/4 litre mineral water (or your choice of water)
- 1 sports bottle or flask
Juice the beetroot, apple, pineapple and lemon. Mix with water in a large bottle (a 1L bottle should be big enough). Shake and drink.
Beetroot is nature’s best blood builder, the lemon cleans the liver and kidneys. This drink is also rich in potassium.
